Paypal converting account to Paypal Cash and asking ID verification

Today I tried to send money to someone using my balance (I do not have CC or bank account attached although at one stage I had VBA and my account was verified) but Paypal said that my account will be converted to Paypal Cash and that I need to provide ID for verification.

Is there any work around this? What if I attach VCC, will Paypal still ask me to provide ID?

if it is a US Paypal account ,to use your Paypal fund to buy or send payment to someone,you need SSN and date of birth

No there isn't any way around it. Attaching a VCC won't make any difference at all.

Basically - unless you can get a US bank account for withdrawal.

Will a VBA work? Not for withdrawal but stopping Paypal to ask for ID verification and allow me to use balance?

No
Only a real US bank account attached will work. It's the only way to withdrawal money in a US PayPal account without the need for a SSN and other personal information.

Your flag said PK,Paypal does not do business in your country,so if your Paypal account is USA,you will need a USA bank account.
Else your money is locked up forever.woe to you and good news for Paypal.
You should always keep up with Paypal terms and agreement and amendments.

the only way is to link a US bank account.and transfer the money to that account.
Or ask for a bank check if the mail address works for you

I clicked on this and it asked for last 4 digits, not full SS? What is the actual request for? I just clicked off of it and went about my business.

you said you just ignore it and go about your business.
if your business is to spend your Paypal fund,either send to someone or buy something,it would ask you to sign up for a cash account.

We have been talking about this on the forum for a year or more now.

THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY IS TO WITHDRAW TO A USA BANK ACCOUNT.

You can keep on asking but the answer will not change. We knew this was coming for a realllllyyyyyy long time now and it has been in place for almost half a year already.

we have told you ,if you dont have a PAYPAL CASH ACCOUNT,you cannot send payment to buy or just to someone with your Paypal fund.
get over it.
you should know better .
Paypal does not do business with Pakistan and with US account,you need SSN or a US bank account

I'm from the US. I tried to withdraw using check but that isn't working either(keeps saying try again later) Its been like that for months. I'm afraid to call paypal and risk extra scrutiny

There are two options to withdraw with bank.

Option 1: Direct Deposit to Bank
Option 2: Deposit to Debit Card

Will it be a problem if I deposit to debit card instead to the bank account?

the bank issued debit card does not hold any fund,it goes to the bank account which is connected to the card.
it is faster than depositing to the bank which could take days
