Can PayPal pull funds out of my bank account

Can paypal pull money out of my bank account? for example if I send it to other paypal account or if I pay for something? Or is it impossible and one can only withdraw funds to the bank account?

Paypal can transfer fund to and from your bank account if it is linked to your Paypal account

Yes, they can and have pulled money from the bank in the past.

Allowing PP to deposit funds into the account also allows them to withdraw - it's in their ToS :(

Are you sure about that?

To be honest, I would like to think the same too.

For instance, when you send money to someone there is two options:

To use funds from pp balance
To use funds from added cards

But there is no option to use bank account to pay someone

Month ago and thru eBay and with PP (they tried 2x in two days in a row for fees).
The funny part is to set your bank acc for online limit (5 USD lol).

So in statement you will see PP or eB tried to take -XY money but thats all...

that is strange though.

Because when you add bank account to your pp account for withdrawal, there is no warning or request of consent that PP can use your bank account to pull funds from there

bank account is not a payment method, it is a withdrawal method
