Paypal Account in family members name.
Hi,
I've recently been selling (drop shipping) things on depop to make a teeny tiny profit, mainly for build up of good reviews on my account.
This caused me to break user terms on my paypal account causing it to get permanently limited. I believe it was said point in particular: (D) are for the sale of certain items before the seller has control or possession of the item.
No denial i was receiving the money then just placing the order on ebay, scummy? I guess so but hey, im an apprentice and money is tight so no shame.
Anyway, i did this 35 times then woke up this mornig with my account limited. I bought a fresh phone and changed my sim when i opened this account and recently turned 18 so i was able to put everything into my name. I also assume 35 sales in 3 days on a paypal that has hardly sold before was what raised the alarm bells in the first place.
Now that account is banned i assume i cant use my bank acc or debit card, so i just opened a monzo account so i have new bank details and a new debit card coming for this new paypal account. I have made it on my work computer on a different web browser and have factory reset my home PC so will use it on their using mobile hotspot on the same web browser.
The items i am selling will typically be no more than £25 total and i will already have the stock at my house. I will normally make 1/2 sells then withdraw to the monzo account.
I know there is alot of variables but from what ive told you, will this work. Once my new monzo card comes i will have to login to the paypal acc once on my phones web browser to link it to my depop account but that will be it(you cant do it on pc).
As long as i keep it relatively calm, only sell a few items a day and say withdraw once a day. I dont want to withdraw only 1 or 2 times a week as if paypal hit me with a 180 day hold thats 6 months without money i could use. I already have stock and will use money from sells to purchase new stock, and keep going like that.
Sorry for the long post and lack of knowledge, im young trynna do this by myself on a budget and then you have to deal with assholes like paypal too. |
