New Stealth PP Account LINKED To Another
 

Hi all, hope you can help.

I created a stealth PP account using a new IP address, stealth name, address, and linked to a savings account in my real name.

I bought something via Facebook and send the money as friends and family from my legit account, real name, address etc. and the seller sent a partial refund as postage was cheaper than anticipated.

That refund went into stealth account... seller says "I refunded to the account it came from" and proceeds to quote stealth email address... I find it strange that PP could link via the savings account alone?

No activity in the stealth acc besides the refund, the payment is in my legit acc activity page. So obviously they are linked now somehow.

I followed stealth guide to the letter as far as I know, kinda frustrating.
Anyone ever had this happen? I guess I just gotta start again with a stealth PP - if there's absolutely no way they can get it from savings account info alone then I may just buy PP from a UK vendor.

Any advice greatly appreciated

so your saving account is linked to 2 Paypal accounts-legit and stealth??

I find it odd that PP actually did this - could it be that you send the funds from the wrong account and seller refunded to that accound? It happens more often than you can figure for ppl...

new account and "friends and family" are first things I see straight away

I have checked PP activity and funds definitely left my real PayPal account, can see it there on my activity log. Have had this real account for many years, and have bought via FB (I'm crazy for collecting watches) so "I see new account and friends and family" is irrelevant in this case, as it was an aged legit PP account, just seemed to link to stealth on the sellers side which is really odd.
As far as I can see it only happened in this one case aswell.
