PP transfer to bank denied
 

Odd. I was able to create and pay for my shipping label through ebay via PP that gets pulled from my bank account. But when I tried to transfer the money from PP to my bank, via the accept link, it said something about an issue and would not send. The details said "denied".

Anyone see this before? I had no issues before nor with my other account just 20 minutes prior. There are no messages from PP via email or within the app.

unique PP and EB and bank account. Unique IP and unique separate login account through windows.

Happened to me yesterday. Historically the answer has been to wait a day or two then try withdrawing a little less.


UPDATE: To hopefully give you some hope, the account I had denied yesterday just withdrew $50 less than the amount I tried yesterday today.

what does 'denied' mean?
Paypal denies your transfer,your bank denies,or the gateway?

Paypal blocks the transfer from going through, then in your Paypal activity it will show as a "denied" withdrawal attempt.

In my experience it's caused by trying to withdraw money too quickly. For example, if your customer just paid an $800 invoice 30 minutes ago and you try to withdraw $780, they tend to deny the transfer. Especially if your buyer paid with something other than their PP balance, because reversals are a possibility. Trying again 24-48 hours after the payment usually works.

Im using several accounts at the moment. Last week on some of them asked to withdraw to card, and some accounts sent notification email different than it used to be- somethink like "we processing your withdraw", and some stayed the same with email header "we received your withdrawal request".

And two of thous which send thous NEW emails (we processing your withdraw) just got denied the withdrawals. It just says "denied". No reason provided. It was pending for 72 hours. Money returned to PP after thous 72 hours. So made again a request to withdraw.. Will see soon if it pass.

But one withdrawal on another account, which was made earlyer and got this new notification form, passed and interesting that transfer to card from PP was instant- after 72 hours got email that withdrawal is processing and after 5 more minutes later another notification saying that money should be in my bank already. That was unusual as it used to take several days to arrive, but money really dropped in 5 mins after withdraw was completed.

Now what bothers me the most is that withdraw to card can not take 5 mins if you do not have bank account number. 5 mins takes withdrawals to bank account, not to card. So it made me scratch head- might be things changes and they now can pull account number which is connected with a card, if account number was not even provided.. Sounds unrealistic and would be a catastrophic fail..

Waiting can help to solve the problem. I tried to withdraw the money at the same day when it was available, and got deny. I waited 24 hrs and try again, it works.
