I received the following email from paypal USA yesterday on a few of my stealth accounts

has any one else got this email

what do you suggest i do

I assume these will be handled by USPS the same way standard bank mail is handled. If that's the case, they aren't allowed to deliver the card unless the name on the envelope lives at the address. If my assumption is correct the card will be returned by Paypal and Paypal will probably ask you why.

This could be a way of Paypal verifying users addresses in cases where they suspect stealth accounts, TBQH.

Sounds like paypal selected you based on the fact you do a lot of shopping with your stealth account ? is that right ?

This sounds like my nightmare. The stealth address residents becoming aware that I am using their address to run a business.

Paypal and all card issuers use a third party to send these cards,probably the same place where it is made,an auditor is usually assigned to watch them coming out of the machine.
can you stop it,I doubt it?But like Paypal said,if you dont want it,just destroy it.
it said 1% rebate with eligible purchase?
I have such a card and I have to use it as a credit card to get 1 1/2% rebate,as a credit card transaction,Paypal earns 2-3% and rebate me1 1/2 %,but if you use it as a debit card,I dont get any rebate as Paypal does not earn any fee.
so check out what is meant by eligible purchase.
1/2% in UK is low>we get 1 %,legacy account gets 1 1/2% .
Also you have to confirm the card,by calling a number or going online,I dont remember.
USPS will deliver the card in unmarked envelope,if it is stolen,the thief cant use it as it is not confirmed with your SSN,address etc

I’ve only received this notice on accounts that are ssn verified. I haven’t received this notice or the email on any stealth accounts.

I wonder why?
Do you think it has to do with $$ volume and age of the account?
Back then,you will have to have a business account with Paypal and committe to accept Paypal for all your Ebay payments
One thing I dont like this card is that if you file a chargeback,you have to download a form and then fax ,email or mail it in,you cant do this online.
Years ago I USED it at Home Depot/ Expo and when they reversed the transaction,it never show up in my account,and there was a time where it cant seem to access your bank account,so if your Paypal fund is not enough,it will be declined

Is your account SSN verified or doc verified at all?
How long have you had your account for?

But when you upgrade to business isn't it technically ssn verified? Assuming you used EIN for the last four, its really not verified but in their eyes it is?

No it is not. At least not as far as receiving the debit card is concerned.
I wouldn't worry about it. The card is issued by a third party and will be returned unactivated to the senders and that will more than likely be the end of it.

There was an option to close mine. I closed it and the card disappeared from my account.
