Instant withdrawal for 1% - new EU PP option?
 

Today I sent some $ from one of my accounts to my bank and found new interest option - withdraw instant for 1%. When I clicked there I found new menu "add bank account".
Is this some new option? Should I tie 1 more bank acc for this option?

In USA,you can add a bank issued debit card and withdraw faster for a fee

It is ok now. I do not know why paypal offered to me add new acc option.

This has been a feature on USA Paypal for a year or so now. At first Paypal started allowing us to withdraw instantly to certain debit cards for a 1% fee. Then they added the option to also withdraw to your attached bank account instantly for a 1% fee.

Now the withdraw options on US PP are:
- instant debit card withdrawal for 1% fee
- instant bank account withdrawal for 1% fee
- standard 1-2 day bank account withdrawal for free

Sounds like they're starting to roll this same thing out in Europe. I don't see why you'd need to attach a new bank account to use the instant withdraw feature, unless your current bank just doesn't support whatever protocol PP is using for instant bank withdrawals.

You can withdraw with no fee in 1 business day.

in the uk bank withdraws have always been instant and free for example

did you use a debit card?
as credit and debit card use a gateway and Paypal has to pay a fee,so it cant be free,

I know it all ends up in the same place,but in USA,cards do not use the same infrastructure as the banks,banks clear thru central bank,cards do not.
may be UK is different.
