paypal said withdraw needs approval 72hrs???
 

went to make a withdraw and pp said it needs 72hrs to approve. just marked as pending now.

is the account going to be toast?

not my first withdraw but is a new account (28 sales so far on it) and was trying to take out on $120 and leave $100 in there.

You might be fine. I feel PayPal seasoning needs to be discussed in a similar fashion. My recommendation

- don’t take more than 50% on new accounts
- start slow (25-50)
- after a few withdraws start to increase by 25-50
- get to a number you are comfortable with (3-600 per withdraw)

If you take out too much or too fast they WILL review it and eventually ask for documents like a photo ID

No, this is somewhat normal... my 10+ year old accounts got this from time to time too and I'm super consistent with everything.

So I wouldn't sweat it.

Nothing to worry about. Funds will be released exactly in 72 hours. They started doing this recently sometimes.

At times you can withdraw around the £20 mark in bursts of payments, although depending on your bank, it may get flagged especially if you're doing a few dozen £20 transactions in one go.

after successful withdraw, you will be able to withdraw immediately
