Just got 21 day hold lifted
 

Legit account, 58 days old, in an obscure corner of the website there has been this button to confirm my identity. I've been putting it off for weeks but did it tonight. It consisted of a text message code, that's it, holds lifted.

Does not affect the 2,000 in holds I have already accumulated, only future payments.

What a joke. I swear, even with a legit account, paypal is just dumb, with a buggy website. Earlier today I was trying to transfer funds to my debit card like I usually do, and kept getting the error "Amount not high enough to cover fee." Even though it was, because the fee should have been 1% of the transfer amount. I'll try again tomorrow, or maybe in another browser.

PP can appear to be buggy or just plain dumb at times, too true

are you sure the amount you want to transfer is available ,not withheld?

Isn’t it true that a phone verification is one of the beginning steps towards account activation? Followed by, a demand from PP to submit more info. Like a photo id, BCC and etc... How can you withdraw with just a debit card linked? What am I missing?
