Why are PayPal holding my funds for 3 days when I transfer to bank
 

Have a stealth account, maybe my 3rd in 6 years, so I know what I'm doing for the most part. I've had to open another stealth account and this time something is happening that has never happened before.
I know my funds are held 21 days for eBay but now, even when that has passed and my funds are clear in PayPal, PayPal are stating that "for security purposes this could take up to 72 hours".
Why? I used Monzo online bank account so I assumed maybe it was an issue with that. Now I've added a high street bank.to PayPal (co-op bank UK) and my funds are still being held by PayPal for 3 days before going to my bank account.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

That's pretty normal im afraid when added in a new bank account

Should happen for the first few transfer though then it will drop to 24 hours then to instant :)

Yes I agree. Its totally normal the more you withdraw the quicker the withdrawals are. It will eventually be instant though :)

it is normal now from paypal, after several successful withdraw, you transfer will be immediately
