Does asking for tax info go away after the new year?

Is this still a thing? Or does it stay until you add an EIN now?

It doesn't go away anymore.

It used to. Either 2018 or 2019 was the first year US PP's stopped resetting.

And an EIN wont work either, I tried that and they IMMEDIATELY asked for my SSN, articles of Confederation, business license, proof of address, and I just blew it off as I had $89 in there.

This limitation does not stop you from withdrawing funds. It only stops you from receiving.

But pretty much the account is dead, I'd assume.

I don't run into these issues since I spread my sales and not hit the treshold.

Hopefully it stays that way.

What about if the account was never asked for tax info. Do those hidden numbers reset each year?
