Default PayPal soft limitations taking longer than usual?

Hello everyone,

I searched through many pages but wasn't able to find any up-to-date information regarding this matter.

A little background first:

I had my account soft-limited 2 times in the past months because of "customer errors". By this I mean that I had my account limited because a frequent customer of mine sent me 3 payments one right after the other. To be more specific, he had to send me USD 25.00 and he did so by sending me 3 payments: USD 22.50, 0.25 and 2.25. He sent those 3 payments in the span of 1-2 minutes. This caused the "system algorithm" to flag my account and had those transactions reviewed. My account was soft-limited and I was asked to upload a bank statement and to write a short "clarification" on what those payments were. I uploaded everything, wrote some basic lines regarding those transactions and the soft limit was removed in 24 hours. This happened around 1.5 months ago.

Fast forward to today, almost the exact same thing happened to me. A different customer was having some issues with his account. He had many cards linked to it but when trying to send a payment over 150.00 usd, he couldn't choose between his cards and was "forced" to use one specifically. When sending payments of less than 150.00 usd, he normally was able to choose any of his cards. Now this person contacted Paypal and was ASKED by a PayPal employee to send the seller (in this case, me), 3 "test" payments to see if they could catch on the error on their end and helped him.

As you can imagine, by doing so, my account was flagged again and the same soft-limitation that happened in the past, happened again. I was asked to upload a bank statement and again to write some clarification on those payments which I did, but it's been almost a week now and the soft-limit still isn't removed.

Is any of you guys noticing some delay on soft-limit removals? Might any of this have something to do with Thanksgiving? (Thursday was a holiday > offices were clsoed).
Or could it be that because of "Black Friday" they have a lot of work piled up?

Again, the 2 times I've been soft-limited in the past, it was removed in 24 hours. Now it's almost a week and I'm still limited.

My 2 cents: Never receive more than 2 payments from the same person in less than 2-3 minutes. It doesn't matter the transaction amounts, it will definitely get your accounts soft-limited
