Default revenge against pay pal

I'm angry at pay pal! Quick question guys.

Now I'm NOT going to do this and I'm just blowing off steam but hypothetically what would happen if I sold a $200 dollar item, withdrew the funds into my bank account, and detached the bank from pay pal?

the buyer would get their funds back and I get the keep the money correct?

At least pay pal will know how it feels to be manipulated...

sorry for the rant I just think pay pal should treat us better and not limit us so heavily...

They would send the registered name on your PayPal to collections

MOST of the time, they will hold the payment. Ask you to add a tracking detail, etc.
And sometimes, they will limit your account right away, and ask documents.
nope. the same paypal and same ebay... I've been using it for years

I sold a $60 laptop recently and they didn't hold payment. I was able to withdraw it right away. I of course shipped the laptop out and left the buyer who is also a seller positive feedback, hopefully he does the same for me.

the registered name is similar to my real name but off slightly. the last name is the same but the first name is off. so ex. Braydon johnson instead of Brandon Johnson or Mason Smith instead of Jason Smith. they would send a phake stealth person (ghost) to collections...

either way I'm just irritated

pretty sure that's why they have a 21 day hold. and collections would target where you've withdrawn your money to, not just the name. you shouldn't be making decisions out of emotions, and you shouldn't be making a thread like this.

I hear you - simply detaching the bank account is not going to stop pp from getting the dough....you'd have to detach and deactivate - just saying, not encouraging

So you remove your bank account, but your Paypal account is still active.
Paypal will ask you to add fund to your account to bring the balance to neutral instead of negative $200.
Any future payment coming into your Paypal account will be used to reduce the negative balance.
Unless you dont plan to use the account to sell, and start a new Paypal account .
There are also other ways to collect that $200,besides collection agency, also do you care about your credit rating?

Likely to go limited after awhile, ending the "reduction" process...

yes you can scam papal in many ways.

that's why they charge so high fees and restrict accounts and ask for invoices and tracking information and have a 21 hold.

even if you attatched your bank account and paypal charge money form your bank you still can recall it since it is a direct debit.

You can also shop a lot with direct debit and recall the money later. But paypal has a good security and i think they might report you to the police if you scam them by big amounts

Works slightly differently in the USA, but I guess the principal still applies.

you're correct and I know better, I apologize to all the wonderful people here on the forum and I'm NOT going to do this and never would but I just felt so angry at the time I started this thread I also want to beat pay pal at their game.

This thread isn't helping the cause of legitimate business sellers trying to sell under stealth. It should be deleted.

Nope won't burn it. I'm NOT going through with it. I would have to deal with consequences and I don't want to make it harder for us good stealthers. I dislike how pay pal treats it's users. Maybe I'll write them an angry email but they most likely won't even care.

instead of avenging your $200 if you're after paypal, why dont you plummet their stock and bankrupt their stakeholders. Maybe you can go after the board of directors
