Ltd Company on Paypal?
 

Is it better to register a Ltd company to use on eBay? So that by law, the money belongs to the company and not the registered name on the Paypal account? Or is it not necessary to do that?

What I am trying to achieve is having all the money I make on PayPal to be legally owned by the company, rather than the person who allowed me to use their details, as they would be known as the account owner, I am worried they have the ability to say that money is theirs. I plan to withdraw most income immediately although I have read somewhere that it is a good idea to leave at least 10% of current PayPal balance sitting there.

Does this mean that the account owner will be have to pay tax, and then the Limited company would have to pay tax also? As it went from customer, to the account owner (PayPal) to the Limited Company (bank)? And not directly from customer to company?

It depends,in an audit,auditor would ask for bank statements,any incoming deposits,if not inheritance,tax refund must be income earned,so why arent you paying your income tax?
It is up to you to prove otherwise

Tax evasion? Tinsoldier you have completely missed the point.

The point is, I want the money to go directly from customer to company, like any company. This has nothing to do with tax evasion.

I would only want to pay the corporation tax on the company, not personal income tax, and then corporation tax.

The problem is, the PayPal account would be under somebody else's name, as it would be a stealth account. I don't want them to have to pay tax.

I also don't want them to be able to say, this account is under my name, so this money is mine.

Well perhaps my finger slipped and spoke about something completely far from the idea. I appreciate your assumption but no I do not, regardless, this is more so about limited companies being registered on Paypal rather than limited companies.
