How to add bank account to PayPal?
 

Removed old bank account and trying to add new.
Getting this every time, very frustrating.

''We are unable to process your request at this time. Try again later.''

Please help.

Paypal security logic. Absolutely stupid, I haven't been able to add a bank for nearly 2 months. If i phone in, they ask public database Q's.

I haven't. I'm waiting a few more months, it's getting ridiculous.

Very often if you change ISP, the bank account will add.

I've had this error loads of times when adding a bank account and every time it was resolved by changing ISP. I guess the only real difference here is that I hadn't removed an account in the first instance.

No. Never used at PayPal before. I have also tried to clear cash and cookies, didn't help, same issue.

It wont fix it. The security check has already been flagged. You will have to wait a few days/weeks before trying to add again.

My bank was removed because of ebay fees, and they couldn't take money out of it. I tried adding a new one and get the same stupid error. The only way is to wait, or phone in and see what they ask for.

I didnt say "change IP". I said change "ISP".

Also tried Finland, same issue.

Before never was a problem with Finnish banks, now something changed, not possible to add as well.

So try a different one then.

All I can tell you is I've had that "Please try again later" error dozens of times and changing ISP has always worked. Just changing IP doesn't work.

You may be getting that error for a different reason so I have no idea if it will work in this instance but it's worth giving it a shot.

I have many old PayPal accounts with attached banks.

Recently I have tried to add new banks to a few accounts, without removing old. Everywhere the same situation "Please try again later"

I tried both with VPN and without VPN, didn't help.

Something changed.

I don't know how to fix it.

Paypal does not remove any account,suspended,closed are still there.
try using a VISA debit card issued by a bank which is a member of VISA Europe.

What do you mean? I can not withdraw to Visa from Finland PayPal.

Only to IBAN bank account.

Account that I am trying to add, was never used at PayPal.

bank issued debit card is just as good as bank account,only faster and cost you a small fee.
Paypal has arrangement with VISA Europe,if you can find a bank in Poland which is a member of VISA Europe,ask them to issue you a debit card and link it to your Paypal account.

Not possible to withdraw to Visa card.

Only few countries in EU has this option in PayPal.

Not in my case.

if you can send or spend the fund in your account,then these would be your only option if you cant link a bank account.

I contacted PayPal via messages, they said to call in and they will help to add bank account.

Anyone called in about adding bank account? Do you need to talk to someone or maybe it is possible to add bank account info on your own, without talking.

Also what is the best to buy with PayPal balance, without losing too much? Gold, silver coins, bullions? Too risky, can easily buy ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

There are reputable precious metal dealers on Ebay,APMEX is the largest such dealer in US,there are others as well,
But they also have their own website,if they accept Paypal,you can buy on their sites and save yourself a few dollars.
they will also buy from you.
Gold is trending up,some said there is more room to run in 2020,do your own research

Finland should be safe,may be there is not enough Paypal members from Finland?
How do commercial banks clear with each other,do they go thru the central bank?
Or go to paypal forum and ask,Paypal reps are there,

I called Paypal several days ago. Had to use software to disguise my voice from male to female as account is under female name. I keep getting error to 'try again later' for several weeks when adding bank account. Can't add debit card as I get error 'we can't confirm your identity'. Finally called in and spoke to agent. She said system has to 'reset' before I'm able to add bank account with no timetable on when that will happen. So I have to wait whenever that comes to fruition.
