PayPal stealth to PayPal real
 

Hi guys,
I have a Stealth pp with some funds in it,
And I am trying to add bank account to it,
But I need a verification code from pp, by way of text or call verification.

I’m looking to withdraw from the pp, one last time.
And was wondering if I should just transfer to a real pp account.
(Stealth to Real pp account)

Any ideas how to approach this?

No.
It was a Google Voice number. I tried it and it must be no longer in service.

From what I understand if you no longer have access to the original number on PayPal USA it’s not possible update the numbers

I could be wrong though but it’s why it’s so important to keep them active

Why’s that? Because you would need a verification code for updating the phone number?

What if I were to send Stealth pp funds to a Real pp?

Give it a go - may work but if it’s a US account then I am pretty sure you cannot funds the balance these days

What’s the best way to transfer funds between stealth pp and real pp?
Is it transfer “to friends and family” method?

Again I am not sure that is possible these days on a self PayPal account in the US

try buying a digital item via eBay(from your real ebay account) with your stealth pp

After the last few updates to paypal's ToS and the introduction of the 'cash account' feature personal accounts no longer have the ability to send payments using the existing balance in the account.
Your best bet is to update the phone number on your paypal account and wait a few months for them to accept it for verification purposes.

Please dont send payment F&F unless you absolutely need to, I witnessed a test account get banned for a $2 transfer because they simply "Suspected" it was the same person.

No one will have recent experience doing what your trying to do as its not longer possible.... You can only withdraw with stealth US PP accounts at the moment you cannot transfer funds to another PayPal via G&S or F&F

Ps. Would you recommend google voice or Trac phone?
And is few months the bare minimum time frame?

James is right. You can not add new number. even If you add new number, when PayPal transfer you to number page to get code, you will not be able to see new number you have added. However if number is registered on your name as on PayPal then it may be possible.

His flag said US,one would assume he has a US Paypal stealth account.
I doubt he can transfer fund to another account or buy something,he has to transfer fund to a bank account or debit card

Going through the same thing with one of my stealth Paypal accounts. Had GV phone number that lapsed due to inactivity and is no longer available. At that time, I stopped selling on that eBay/Paypal account. Also, had to change IP address as the one I was using before was no longer available.

Now that I started selling on it again recently, I was able to change phone number. However, I can't add new bank account as all I get is error code stating to try again later after several dozen times using different browsers. Can't add new debit card as I get message 'we can't confirm your identity'. I can't transfer it to another account.

Also had to change debit card # as the one on file I canceled several weeks back and through card away. Big mistake. That is what Paypal asked me first and verify that 16 digit number before adding new card.

Keep getting message to call Paypal to answer security questions after emailing them several times. Guess I have to wait several months for new # to be accepted.

sounds like PAYPAL is doing what AMZN is doing,before you can replace your existing card/bank account with a new one,you must know your old numbers,else someone who hacked into your account can siphon your money away by adding a new card or bank account
