Payment from this sale is on eBay hold
 

I just made 2 sales this past hour on eBay and the funds are now on hold for both sales... what happening? This is not a new PayPal account...

Paypal and ebay can reinstate those holds at any time for any reason.
The good news is that the holds will likely be removed much faster than they were originally.

How do I avoid these in the future ... I haven’t been uploading tracking into eBay and only do so when asked to by the customer. Does this effect whether or not eBay decides to hold my funds?? And are they going to hold all my transactions for 21 days ? This is annoying...

If you upload the tracking that will be reduced from 21 days

You just have to wait for it to drop off naturally there’s nothing you can really do to force it to drop off sooner. Usually it shouldn’t take more than a couple of weeks at most if your holds have been removed in the past

The thing is I’m dropshipping so I don’t want to fulfill the order and risk losing the funds that are on hold. What if I canceled the orders that are on hold and just not use that PayPal account for 3 weeks ? Or does doing that raise a red flag ?

You can do that if you want, but it will effect the eBay to a degree

There are Ebay holds and Paypal holds.
if you upload tracking,it could be released after 3 days,or more

Old or new, this is normal. They can slap the 21 day hold on any account they want.
If you haven't used this account for a while then start selling, this is the reason.

if you keep cancelling your orders,it would make you look bad with Ebay,the buyer and Paypal.
Not using your account for 3 weeks,is not going to make any difference ,find out why and who is withholding your payments,Ebay or Paypal.
uploading tracking will make life easier for you,3 days after tracking shows delivered,you could see the money,depends on what the item is,it could be 3-21 days,
You said you are dropshipping or rather retail arbitrage,you should have some money set aside to buy the merchandise from AMZN and then get a tracking number .

I’m not dropshipping with Amazon because now it’s against ebays policy to have other company labels on packages bought from eBay ...
