New account verification
 

Hi I’m having to sadly stop using a friends accounts and thus I am moving on to new account. I set up PayPal and eBay with my dads mates details. Clean phone, IP etc. I anticipated that I would need to get him to ID when I reached the £1500 limit but after selling my first item on eBay auction, the account with limited lending ID upload - I have 6 weeks to provide. Is this now normal process / new? In the past it wasn’t this strict. I’m going to order him a provisional driving license and upload this to the account. Will I be up and running again? Cheers

I have had this before and they have closed the account and kept it working, I'm not sure what makes them decide. What niche items did you sell?

It’s just clothes mainly. Stuff I pick up in charity shop. I started by auctioning a t-shirt and an action figure. As I say it’s not even a stealth account. It’s an actual person... I think I’ll just have to bite the bullet, order him the provisional and hope it goes okay! Just a pain to be in limbo for two weeks
