Unable To Add Funds To Negative PayPal Balance
 

I currently have a negative balance due to a buyer opening a dispute. I have tried to use the add funds feature with no success. It just brings me to a page saying if I have recently added funds using bank account to wait a few days or waiting until the dispute case is closed.

But, when I finally found a link to take me to the page and go through the motions to add funds from bank account, it fails.

I have successfully been able to do so in the past but, now it's not going through and telling me to try again later.

Has anyone had this issue recently? Or, how else can I resolve this?

I have to print labels for orders and I'm unable to do so now because of the negative balance.

This is a stealth PayPal account.

When this happens to me I put up something for sale and buy it from myself + I get good feedback for this. Just make a buy it now auction and buy something from your self

What the amount in question?
Would selling a few more items not cover the negative balance and resolve this issue?
Worse case scenario try calling paypal and see what they say cause it sounds like a glitch to me.

also did Paypal send you email to bring the account to neutral?

I will try to get a family member to buy something.

No, I never received any email from PayPal yet. I just need to bring the balance to neutral so that I can print shipping labels for orders and I don't understand why I'm unable to add funds from my bank like I did once before months ago.

I had that issue a few weeks ago I believe. I am looking forward to MP becoming available to everyone, I'm tired of Paypal.

Only way I fixed it was more sales

YOu mean sell enough to cover the negative balance then enough to cover the refund?

I don't understand why I'm unable to transfer from my bank account since I have done it before. And, I don't want to contact them to raise any flags.

I've tried to do the transfer funds twice when I first saw the message saying I couldn't do it and to try again later, and it says failed in my summary.

It only take a few mins to make a buyer stealth account. U can even do it the dirty way use a google voice number if you are tight on funds ebay don't care about stealth buyers just the sellers .

could it be that when a dispute is open,Paypal restricts you from any dealing with your bank,it is meant to prevent you from moving fund from Paypal account to your bank account but in your case,you have nothing to transfer to your bank account.
say if you have 1500 in your account and the dispute is 1000,you may try to move $500 .
It is the cockroach approach,if you find one cockroach,there must be more (many sellers have multiple quantity of the item disputed,if one buyer files dispute,more could follow)

the max amount of money i keep in my paypal acc at all times is about 200 and that is it its only for returns keeping money in paypal acc is like a 5 year old kid holding on to your money ive been selling on ebay and useing paypal for a long time i don't trust them. they can close your acc in a few seconds

I use Citibank. I've had the same account for 4 years now.

I have more than enough in my bank account to transfer into PayPal to resolve the negative $136 balance. The problem is me not being able to make the transfer successfully as I have done so before with the case still being open.

I want to transfer the money in, not out of PayPal.

Paypal may have just one rule,block you from having any activity with your bank account until the dispute is resolved.
you may have to call them or find another way to print labels,USPS priority can be done via USPS,there are other sites which offer USPS first class

Just send the amount from another PayPal directly to it.

If you don't have another account, use a friends account.

The amount is $136...not much. I don't sell items every day unfortunately.

or ask a friend of your to use his paypal account to print using Paypal shipnow,

I just wanted to update and say that today I was able to initiate to withdraw funds from my bank account. I didn't get the error message saying failed again.

I cleared my cache on my MacBook.

Now, I just wait for the funds to come from my bank.

So, I agree with you being a glitch maybe.
