Unable to add bank account
 

i have had a stealth eBay/paypal account without any issues. suddenly the account that i had linked seems to have been unlinked! Have tried reading but every time it say the following "We're sorry, we're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later"
Tried numerous times with no luck.
Any suggestions?

What bank account is it?

You can call up and see if the automated line will add it for you. If not you may need to speak to a rep and see if they can add it.

Its a barclays account. I have just tried with another account and it works but it has asked for confirmation by sending a text to the mobile number on the account. But the number is part of the stealth set up, so i don't actually have it!
I guess i could go and buy a cheap pay as you go and add that to continue?

Chances are it will still want to send a code to the old number if you do that. You can add a new number, delete the old one and try again in a weeks time.

Biggest hassle if you don't have the old number. I removed the old number as the bank was removed and needed a text to confirm. It's been 3 months and I still cannot add a new bank even though I added a new pay as you go sim.

When i tried speaking to the rep, they started asking public DB Q's.

IF you are going to add new number so it will never work.need 90 days for new number.
and bank issue might be its already linked with other paypal,or some one added

This happened to me when I tried adding a Barclays sub account (different sort/account no), to a stealth address (real address). They said they couldn't find the person living at that address, so they do actually check.

What do you mean? You're saying when you add a bank, PayPal check whether the address of the bank account is the same as the PP one? That doesn't make sense whatsoever, they don't have the facility to confirm that information.

No, but there are other records they can check to see if somebody lives at an address (and not access the banks database).

subaccounts should belong to the same person who has the main account,not another individual,in your case,it is a different person

Possibly, but other members here utilize sub accounts for stealth and are doing ok.

So do i add new number and delete old number and wait for three months. In the meantime can i transfer funds to another PayPal account? As this seems the only way to withdraw funds

sometime you need wait 3 day to one week. sometime need call paypal

There are so many typo errors on this forum,using cell phones >
or just plain lousy typist.
I am just trying to fit in.
But it is not going to make PAypal changes its mind on subaccount?
why do some folks succeed?may be they are not subaccounts at all

I'm using First Bank (of Payoneer). How can I fix it?
