Error when adding a debit card

I sold an item on a brand new eBay acct. Item arrived just fine and money released.

Trying to add a debit card to Paypal to do an instant transfer. Problem is Im getting the "Cant at this time" error message.

Does this dictate a problem? I figured if I were linked I would have gotten an email by now. Should I call in? I currently only have a credit card in my PP wallet, no checking.

what kind of debit card?
Paypal accepts bank issued debit card,bank=US bank

Bank of America type bank. Not a prepaid

debit card issued by BAC should work,why not call Paypal.
Are you in US?
