am i protected?
 

i plan on shipping something that is worth $200 from usa to canada. the buyer is going to pay with paypal. What do I need to do to protect myself in case of a chargeback?
what i think:
make sure buyer has confirmed address
make sure to get signature confirmation

is this enough? if buyer does decide to do a chargeback, will paypal protect me?

you will be covered if you pay for a tracked service, paypal usually only look at tracking....

as for chargeback, if you have tracking paypal will often fight the chargeback for you...

It depends on dispute, if they are saying received but not as described, always offer refund, because pp will not back you up, but if they say not received tracking should be enough..

When I ship to Canada, I always send the package REGISTERED with RETURN RECEIPT and SIGNATURE REQUIRED.

If the item you are shipping was not an ebay item, you don't have to be very concerned about SNAD.

For the absolute most protection, insure the item.
