PayPal stealth name but EIN in my name?
 

I have a questions regarding my stealth PayPal account. I intend to upgrade my personal stealth PayPal account to business account prior the the 20K/200 transaction mark. I might be over complicating this but I haven’t found an exact answer reading through the forum.

Let’s say my stealth PayPal name is John smith. My real name is Peter Pan, and I have an EIN as a sole proprietor for Peter Pan. When I upgrade my PayPal to business, from what I read, PayPal will ask for EIN/SSN.

Question1: Can I provide my EIN (Peter pan) to the PayPal stealth account even though the names do not match?Does the IRS cross check this, or cross check the EIN/SSN?

Question 2: I provided my SSN to an old PayPal account(under my real name and not limited) that is linked to a now suspended eBay account. Does this create an issue?

Question 3: will opening an LLC and getting a new EIN work? I also read that PayPal asks for ID verification. Whats the solution for me regarding the stealth name PayPal account?

Lot of posts regarding EIN use - it's an effective tool.

Question 2: the PP account is still in good standing - while ppl have reported success with creating new ebay and using an old PP, keep in mind that a link exists and COULD cause issue - never can be 100% sure
