Yes, register the giftcard to the same PP info you got.

good advice given - just the address info on the gift card should match up as much as possible to the account info but name has not made difference for me. I haven't had to change info on a VCC

Since when did addresses have to mate on VCCs and gift cards.
I had to take a step back - in the past, I was registering the zip code or postal code of gift cards to match the address on the pp account.

For VCCs, I havent had to change info so you're right about the VCC part.
