paypal requires phonenumber from march 31 onwards?
 

Hello,

i got a notification that i wont be able to use my paypal account from march 31 onwards if i dont add a current phonenumber.

Since i have man stealths and dont live in the country of the pp account its not possible for me unless i find a provider that sells private phonenumbers.

The PayPal thing is called pdsa2 or someth for extra strong authentification in europe.

They say they will send codes to the phone so that you have to verifiy before sending money etc..

Anyone got the same message/problem ?

you can use virtual phone services or buy sim card on ebay

Most USA sim cards does not have roaming capabilities if not registered appropriately in USA.
The OP seems to be located in germany

I had this issue previously and I called PayPal Support, because on the website I cannot change the phone number prefix, however in EU its very possible that I have a phone number from another country (for example when you live near the border). The support agent said, I have to download the PayPal mobile app and I can write any prefix there, so I can add mobile from other country! And she was right, it worked! :clap:

Also for virtual phone & SMS service, I recommend freezvon.com, they are pricey, but dont asking too much and accepting crypto :spy:

No you can use other countries(same goes for ebay)
For example I have EU accounts running with UK sims
