Paypal 21 day hold?
 

Some money from your sales may be held each month
We wanted to remind you that any payments from sales that you receive above $500.00 USD will be held temporarily and released after the orders are fulfilled.

Anybody every see this? Its 2 year old stealth account, upgraded to business account, confirmed everything, sent ID twice, EIN, no complaints or disputes whatsoever. Probably $100,000 worth of purchase history and only $5000 worth of sales history. All of a sudden I get this email. I am a US seller shipping products.

Does this mean "the first $500 will be available immediately and after that will be on hold until 1 day after tracking shows delivery" or "the first $500 will be available immediately and the rest will be held for 21 days"

when yu sign up with PAYPAL,did it say you have given it the permission to pull a credit report on you?
do you use the Paypal sales proceeds to buy the same products you sold?

usually 3 days after tracking shows delivery,up to 21 days.
In some cases ,more than 21 days but thats rare.

So you don't think it will be 1 day after delivery like usual?

Does it sound like this account is in danger? I have other accounts I can work with.

I did have a slight increase in sales on high risk items (used cell phones) but they are only $200 and it was only $1000 total in the last week. I have been limited and asked for receipts in the past but it is obvious where I am getting my merchandise (buying it on eBay with paypal)

it could be Papal tightening its policy,many more are going to lose their jobs.
