Shipping to Spain - item not received dispute but I now have proof it was delivered

Hi there,

Whenever I send to Spain it takes ages. It's ridiculous really. I know it's that end cause I can send to nearby countries the same day and they arrive much sooner.

Anyway, this one buyer started a dispute after 2 weeks when I said on my listing expect up to a month sometimes.

Finally today (after basically 1 month) the Spanish post website shows that it has been delivered. The paypal dispute already went to 3rd request for information which I then filled out. How can I get this new information across to paypal? The case is now being looked at by them and I can't add any more information. I'm not sure the buyer will admit they've received them even though it was sent 'signed for' and I don't know how they know that the tracking number I gave is for that item and not some other buyer.

Any ideas appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks

Call them, by phone, and tell them, using your voice.

email paypal using dispute reference, and they will add the tracking info to the case...

Thanks for those suggestions,

I did add the tracking info when I got the 3rd request for buyer info. It's just that I'm dubious as to whether they check it. Or if they checked it 3 days ago it didn't display delivered but now it does.

I know someone who lives in Spain and I might get them to call the buyer asking him to close it I guess..

I don't know what they are doing in spain but we have had this happen on several occasions. I think its a scam most of the time. They are some how getting spanish customs to hold the packages for a while, then they file a paypal dispute and then they pick the items up after paypal closes the dispute awarding the buyer a full refund plus product.

Odds are your problem was not a true mistake they probably knew what they were doing.

We have had friends who sell often run into the same problem.

Don't ship to spain!

Before my friend had a chance to call they closed the disputes which was nice!

:D
