Paypal no longer refund fees

So I have recently received an email from paypal saying they no longer refund the paypal fees when you cancel and refund the order to customers!

This is BullSh!T, in the old days, they refund the rest of the fees and not refund the 20-30p charge per transaction, but this is now getting ridiculous! Surely they can't be doing that! that is our hard earn cash, I often have to cancel orders because customer change minds, my item on average is £400 meaning a loss of almost £12.00 per transaction, just this week alone, I have had 2 cancellations so far, costing dearly...

Does any of you find paypal more and more unacceptable these days with their terms!? it isn't our fault customer changes mind, surely paypal can't do that!

It's just the technocratic world we live in. The big tech companies call the shots and then all we can do is struggle to adapt.

This has been the policy in USA for about a year now, and it's always been that way with any other payment processor. The payment processor doesn't get a refund of their processing costs from MC/Visa when a transaction is cancelled, so Paypal's decision is somewhat understandable. In the past they were probably accepting those losses as the cost of doing business with customers who pay with cards.

Other payment processors don't either. It was about time.

This is a robbery, paypal is getting more and more dishonest and greedy. I lost almost 20 pounds on 2 refunds I made, after the buyers requested the orders to be cancelled.

I think at some point you will need to make it clear to buyers that any request for orders cancellation will incur those fees.

American women are a lot different than British women.
