I have been selling, refunding a lot recently. As soon as funds were available, I logged in to withdraw and hit this error message:

In case you can't see it it says "sorry there's a problem, we're not able to transfer money to your bank".

I ran into this issue a while ago on a very old account that I started using again. But this time it's happening to an active account I've been using.

Anyone have had this issue? Do I just wait it out? I cannot call Paypal due to Covid.

Yes, when you do this quite too often, a security bot is triggered for 'unusual activity'.
I recommend just do this once in a while. or like withdraw at least twice a month or something. Until this goes away.

I was withdrawing every other day, and logging in daily to process refunds. So, go from withdrawing every other day to withdrawing 2x a month? Would withdrawing 1x a week be slow enough to get this to go away? I would still have to login to process refunds more often.

No email option - only option to send a message via their chat box which I did.

I tried withdrawing 3x but stopped, don't want it to get in even more trouble. I'll most likely get the "wait 24-48 hours" reply from them :doh:

Yes, atleast once a week withdrawal would be okay.

Sometimes buyers pay me directly, and want a refund instead of off Ebay. It comes in waves where sometimes I have zero refunds then a few right after each other.

Was able to withdraw after 30 hours. Hold went from 72 to 12 hours too.

It was a good thing you didn't keep pushing after trying a few times.

I also messaged PayPal chat, not sure if they did anything on their end.
