If paypal didn't let me add a bank to my old limited account, is it safe to add it?

Is it safe to add it to my new account? When I was trying to add my card paypal said I need to wait and I never ended up adding it.

Is it worth getting a completely new bank account or can I just use this one?

You don't add your bank card, you add your account number and sort code.

And no, I wouldn't use that account with a new PayPal. Get a new savings account instead.
