Can Ebay See My Paypal Information...
 

I've set up a second EB. Different name, phone, and address. Before they will let me sell, they want a payment option for sellers fees. I want to use PP.

I have created a new PP with the same above information. They want a credit card on file to pay the EB seller fees. The credit card I want to use has the correct name but is registered to the same billing address of an old EB account.

Can EB see the billing address on the card if it is in my PP account? I wouldn't think that EB would have access to that information. Just the name, credit card number, expiration, and cvc.

If they did, it seems as though it would be a security or privacy breach on behalf of PP since they are no longer owned by the same company. Has anyone successfully done this?

I think you'll be ok as long as the CC number itself is different than what you used before.

Yeah, the credit card number is different. Brand new card. But the billing address is the same address that was used as an old shipping address on a suspended EB account.

If you don't give the address (e.g. type it in) then eB can't see the info by default - they can only see what you provide...

When you're on ebay setting up seller payments it makes you choose PP, credit card, or bank account. If you choose PP it opens a pop up window where you login to PP.

From there you have to enter a credit card in paypal and the address you provide for the credit card has to match the billing address. Otherwise it wont let you submit it.

That's where I'm wondering if EB can see the address.
