Talking How to get out of "Sorry, we couldn't confirm it's you" error (Working Bypass)

Suddenly got locked out of my PayPal account today. I didn't get an email message or notification. When I click "Next" on the screen to unlock my account, I got "Sorry, we couldn't confirm it's you" error and then I couldn't do anything else. I called PayPal and they were useless.


1. Go to PayPal.com and click Login.


2. Click "Having trouble logging in?".


3. Type your email address in and follow the prompts to unlock and access your PayPal account again. In my case, I had to confirm my email address and phone number (received an automated call and typed in a code)

Always set up security questions. you can also confirm with them. you always need to confirm 2 things (just in case the number does not work for example)

On the PayPal classic user interface you would always be prompted to create the security questions, but they stopped doing that once they introduced the new interface and now decided to hide it. Only God knows why.

Unfortunately this method don't work any more there is no "have problems with login" option on login page, just "forgot your password" but when I try to reset password it still redirect me to "Sorry, we couldn't confirm it's you" .
I run this problem... Any ways I can solve it instead of call to pp? I have access to phone number linked to account. Maybe somebody have Unfortunately this method don't work any more there is no "have problems with login" direct link?

Wait 48 hours and try again.

It seams that Paypal is change their rules. I have few Croatian Paypal and all of them have a this problem starting two days a go.

You should go with forget password method if it works but there are fewer chances to work this.

In my case waiting of about 72 hours was OK. Then they let me in with SMS confirmation

I waited the first time 3 days, and it was the same.
Next time I waited a week before trying to log back in.

But it still doesn't allow me. "Sorry we couldn't confirm it's you"

I will try to call them...

maybe it's because I changed the phone number realted to the account and I logged in with different ips from the cellphone.

Anyway waiting 7 days without trying to get it didn't work for me...

Did you change the number completely or you just added a number... I hope you didn't just remove the original number.
