In case of disputes - DHL tracking number sufficient?

Another question from a fellow seller :)

Assuming that I am receiving money on Paypal.

Some of my buyers do a dispute and want to charge their money back.

Is it sufficient to provide the DHL tracking number to show paypal that I have actually sent the item?

Or do they need more proof than that to close a dispute?

Thanks

You need proof of DELIVERY, not proof of SENDING.

But what if I'm dropshipping and it takes about 3-4 weeks until the item arrives? I am not doing my sales on ebay, I have my own online store :help:

Someone told me putting in the DHL tracking number is enough to close a dispute

a chargeback is decided by his cc issuer, not Paypal.
Paypal seller protection would not protect you if DHK tracking does not show delivered.
4 weeks is a long time, what does tracking show

Oh I was referring to a dispute, not an actual cc chargeback. Sorry for the confusion.

It says that it is still on its way with the location of the package

If you can show Paypal you have printed a shipping label and it has tracking showing it is on its way,you get paypal seller protection.

I can do just that. But not sure what to do if they claim that I haven't sent the item / they haven't received the item.

Let's say there has to be a tracking code that it has been delivered. Is that necessary or do I also need a signature of the person receiving it?

Also: What happens if the user says he hasn't received the item, it is on its way (proof is tracking code) but it takes a few weeks until it arrives in the recipients hands? Will the money and my paypal be on hold for the time being??!
