Can you be linked by a 3rd party?

Ok i have used my moms paypal at my house..she lives in ohio and me in kentucky. so i cannot use hers but her boyfriend has one that he never uses..could i use his or would it be linked to my account through my moms account. Like there is nothing directly between him and i but we are both linked to my moms paypal at somepoint?

If you use his or hers then you create a link - could survive for awhile but never know when this mess gets axed by PP :( sadly
