"Sorry we can't log in you at this time" error
 
Okay, So I had an issue with one of my stealth accounts. I had to change IP's since the one I had was no longer working, when trying to log in it then triggered a security check, I clicked on images and it then said "We can't log in you in your account, if you think its an error contact us" even though the password was correct... Luckily I was able reset password and it worked, I was able to log in again, but this morning I tried to log in again, same issue. Only way was to change password once again.

I contacted paypal but they needed to send a text message to confirm the account so they can clear the security check from the account. Unfortunately, the number is no longer valid. I used numbers from the burner phone app which doesn't get paypal's text. Even when adding a new number it doesn't work. I ordered a prepaid phone to add just so I can call back and talk to them,

Has anyone had this issue before? Saw someone say they waited a week and it worked normally, not sure if its a temporary issue

Update for those that care: it works normally now. Looks like it was only a day or so

I'm having the same problem right now with 1 account:

I don't have the phone to reset password. Was possible with email only?

So just was one day issue?

It’s not just email you’ll need. They’ll either ask to text you or answer the security questions which fortunately I still had. If you can’t do that then wait a day or two. It should go away on its own
