Hello. Just logged into my outlook and seen this message can I withdraw my money? I been waiting for a year for this money to get unreleased.

1 year??? that's long.
And yea you should be able to withdraw it to you rbank

Yes I had to wait a year for the PayPal limit to life.


Okay can I use my personal bank account that I have used on previous PayPal accounts to withdraw or do I have to open a new one that hasn’t been used on PayPal before?

I think you must call PayPal that withdraw your money with help of support.

Also, i think you must withdraw to Visa or US bank account (as i been in this before).

But in UK you may able to use UK bank account

Is this PayPal your real name or stealth? Asking as if it stealth its difficult to get money after 180 days now and random email after 1 year is ace.

You would have to add a new bank account that hasn't been used or limited on a previous PayPal account. A savings pot will do.

Stealth name and other details. Yes I have added a new bank account which I haven’t used before on PayPal and still same message is occurring.

Typically the best thing to do is wait a few days, and then try withdrawing a smaller amount.

Well that's a new one.

So you waited 2x longer than you're supposed to have to wait, finally got the email saying you can withdraw, then you tried/failed withdrawing.. and now they've locked you out of your account?

I don't know what's going on with that one. I'd say you have nothing to lose by calling in and asking what's going on at this point.

Something is going on... have you spoken to anyone on the phone?
Are they even available on the phone during the pandemic?

It's quite strange that they made you wait 360 days instead of 180 in the first place.
That on its own is already unacceptable.

Were you seeing the large red exclamation mark when trying to withdraw? And then contact us appears after.
If so then you have to phone in and chances are they will request upload id again.
Now if your locked out you definitely have to phone them.

And double check the email was definitely from real PayPal. Not that I know much about hacking.

I’m back in now in the account but the money is still stuck so what I have done on need for calling them I’m doing a live chat with them and they’re trying something from there end.
