Gave my info to a HACKER
 

I came across many so called hackers on IG who say they are able to remove all of the paypal restrictions, help remove limits, etc.
Is it legit and can they really do that?? I gave my stealth email address/name to one of them. He promised to remove the strickes in just a couple of hours. I realised that he scammed me. Should I be worried about my info?

yes, you need to be worried especially if this is your original account.

Change the password to your account now.

Anyone that promises something too good to be true and asks for money upfront is a for sure scam. Especially on Instagram. Hope he didn't steal your account

Just another thread that highlights how easily people part with their hard earned cash when they are desperate.

Don't worry about it. He isn't a hacker. He is a scammer. And he definitely can't do anything with that info other than spam you.

Many of these hackers will screw you over. You are wise to listen to the longterm posters here and not rely on random IG ppl

I hope that he is just a scammer, but he sent me videos and photos of the software he is using. My email address was put in there to crack the password, also saying the user is found and it showed my ip adress.

I told to myself that this is too good to be true, but still took that chance lol.

I think the hacker was able to get into my account!
The flags come and go. At times it shows o notifications. Which wasnt the case before. It still doesn't let me transfer money to the bank.

Sorry to hear this.
My advice to you:
- if you can still login to your account, login and change email, change password, add security questions, add 2FA
- remove all previous emails

- if you cant access the account anymore, call PAYPAL, tell them that your account has been hacked, they will identify you and provide you the steps to restore it securely.

If you call PP and tell them you are hacked, they'll want a myriad of documents from you.

I'd say just change your email and password now.

Guys,
The hacker got into my account. I got an email sent to me from Xoom that im now able to send money to a different Country. I logged in to paypal, and went to add 2nd step verification but it wouldnt be allow me to change any of the info. I freaked out and had no way but to contact paypal. When i was messaging paypal, they asked if i need support and he responded "No" from my name.
I then couldn't login to my account i think he changed the password. Long story short, I was able to change the info and added more security. Lesson learned!

Just walk away and make a new account. Not worth losing money or getting money locked because the hacker will Not Might hack it aging. Hackers dont stop .
