Account got limited right after upgrading to business
 

Hello,

I have created a new PayPal account to use for one of my stores, on a fresh virtual machine (VMbox) with unique IP address (LTE usb) using Opera browser.

Then after verifying the phone number and email address i went to settings to upgrade it to business and filled the necessary fields, and got a message instantly that there is a suspicious activity and i should upload an identity document.

I did that and after 12hrs i got an email that the account is suspended and can't use it, any funds will remain for 180 days (i got nothing there). They said in the they consider the business high risk and can't support it. I don't know how they based on that, i didn't added any website just filled the usual fields when upgrading and chose it as individual/sole proprietor and business type is Beauty and barber shops.

I'm trying to brainstorm what i could have done wrong so i don't do the same with my next account.

I didn't use Proxies because there is no proxy provider that have ips in my country and it will look more suspicious, so i used 4g LTE dongle that provides unique IP address.

What country did you make the PP account for?

You have a US flag showing but you are actually in Morocco

The country i created the PP account from is Morocco and the IP address is from Morocco also. I used fresh LTE dongle on a new created VM.

I had 5 paypal accounts since 2016 in Morocco, but never used VM + LTE dongle to sign up for one. Sure it's not that!
