ASPKIN, I need an answer this question.
 

Now I have been recently told that if you have a US Verified PayPal with a stealth SSN, You cannot send money or use that PayPal to make purchases online unless it's your real SSN. (You can only receive and withdraw to a US bank account)


True or False?


Anyone have experience care to chip in on some advice.

I heard this from a very well respected member on here and I am not discrediting him I am just trying to see what others experiences were.

True.
To be able to send payments you must have the cash account feature enabled and the only way to have it enabled is to have them verify your identity by adding your SSN and DOB.
And you cannot add a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN - they verify it against the national SSN database.

There's no such thing as a stealth SSN.

But to answer your question, yes, you'll need a bank account to withdraw funds to nowadays. It's the only option.

Unless it is a UK PayPal account correct?

Then I will not have to worry considering they don’t have SSN and will be able to send, receive, purchase no problems right ?
