Hi guys.
I have been receiving instant payments (no hold in PayPal, available immediately) from all payments into my PayPal account. Payments received last month as instant payments is around $2500.
Now the past two payments received (one via ebay and one via my website) have been placed on hold pending delivery confirmation (each around $250).
I have no problem waiting for the delivery to be confirmed for the hold to he released.
What I would like to know, is the hold that is being placed on the funds a warning that account limitation risk has increased? Should I slow down/stop sales for awhile and allow the account to "cool off"?
PayPal account and ebay account are both about 4 years old. Small amounts sold on and off the past 4 years (163 total feedback, no issues) but now selling some higher value items.
Please give your advice on whether the delivery confirmation hold is a high risk of impending account limitation if I keep selling? |
With the recent changes made by Paypal, even if your account is 10 years old, they can put some of the payments you received in hold.
Their system does a kind of permanent risk analysis. For instance, if you received some higher amount during a month and in the previous months, you didn't make that turnover, a part of the payments could be put in hold.
This is nothing alarming. After few months, everything will be good. Keep calm :-) |
