Ein won't go through
 

Paypal is asking for SSN or ITIN i registered for EIN through IRS but when i enter it wont let me apply shows red caution symbol. I messaged them told me to send document of EIN did that its been 3 days nothing. how long does this process take?

Replying to follow, I had similar happen with two stealth accounts. Did everything by the book, ipburger, etc...when they wanted taxpayer proof, I upgraded to business account, where they wanted ITIN or SSN, not EIN. They never asked for the EIN.

So, is that new?

Does anybody know?

ya just did mine but only asked for last 4 of SSN so i put my last 4 of ein
still waiting. there was no option for ITin o EIN

this is what paypal told me to do

Log in to your PayPal account, click on your name on the
top right corner next to log out and then click on account setting
Click Account owner information on the left.
Click Add beside "SSN, EIN, ITIN" (If an EIN/TIN or SSN is already on
file, there will be an option to "Edit".)

really be interested to get an update on this issues when someone gets a response...

Just about to upgrade a few of mine and was anxious they might do something like that...

If this is used on ebay, it would be much easier to just sign up for MP.

I'd really like to hear what others results were......I may have potentially found an option just recently and was planning to begin phase 1 asap....but was waiting to see what others have experienced with the upgrade, since PP is so inconsistent these days it's ridiculous..
