questions/paypal requests identity document

Hello everyone, just a little advice.
I need to verify a paypal account. I'm being asked a document.
In this account I'm using the real last name of the person, just the name is different and the date of birth. The address (home address) in the account also coincides with the one in the document.
What would happen? Would paypal accept it if I change the name and the date of birth before uploading the document? (Is it possible to change name and date of birth last minute?).

Will that cause trouble with ebay? This person real name have been used in the past for an ebay account that is now limited.
Although in this paypal account we're using a different address (@) and a different home address.

Your help is much appreciated

Paypal is kind of notorious for info matching to the account so it could cause trouble.

You should aim to match up info properly.

You should aim to match up info properly.

So you suggest to keep everything like it is without changing anything?

But this person never had problems with paypal, only with ebay, so even if this paypal account is matched with his previous one, what would happen? Would they contact ebay?

I am only indicating that the info of ID documents submitted should match info of registration. Changing the info of registration is a huge security flag and I suspect that it will cause you problems.

The eb account is in good standing? Probably won't be affected by status of pp - so while eb and pp are tied (kind of), there wouldn't be a lot of back and forth verification between the platofmrs.

Now this person is aware that you are using his/her info?

Ok, thanks for that.
Although it could happen that sometimes an account is open by the father, he stops using it, and the son carries on...or two brothers...don't you think?
Yes, the ebay account (the current one) is in good standing.
Yes, it's a relative I'm helping.

Or even calling paypal on the phone to explaining that the account originally belonged to a brother or a parent, and now it belongs to this other brother or parent....therefore the details will change a bit...just a name and date of birth..
What do you think? Still dangerous?
Thanks
