Urgent paypal advice/change registration details/verification document
 

Hello everyone, my apologies if it's a similar post to another one I opened recently, but I needed to rephrase the issue more clearly and I need an urgent help/advice.

I need to verify a paypal account (I reached a certain amount of money coming in). I'm being asked a document.
This paypal account is not completely stealth. We would like to use the real document. This pp account has the real last name of the person (the first name is different) and the real home address. Only the first name and the date of birth are different.
So I thought about calling paypal on the phone to explain that the account originally belonged to a brother or a parent, and now it belongs to this other brother or parent....to justify the fact that now I need to change the name (only the first name) and the date of birth...so I can use the real document.
What do you think? Is it dangerous?
it could happen that sometimes an account is open by the father, he stops using it, and the son carries on...or two brothers...don't you think?

Will that cause trouble with ebay? This person's real name has been used in the past for an ebay account that is now limited.
Although in this paypal account we're using a different address (@)(the name doesn't appear in the @ address) and a different home address.

Nice username! If you want any advice I am willing to help out. But your name concern doesn't matter since there are clearly more than just one John Doe out there on Amazon/eBay.

From my experience, anytime I had to change a phone I just call or message them saying I got a new number. Usually I play dumb and ask how to update it so that it doesn't raise red flags.

I would leave the name alone, it raises a big red flag since I think its against their TOS that you can't transfer accounts. You could also say you got a business partner so you want to add a second name to it. I wouldn't delete the old accounts just incase you need to verify them again later down the line.

As far eBay, I've been selling there since 1999 - its changed quite a bit over the years. Had to do stealth accounts for unjust suspension. I've had probably a dozen or so in my real name. Some even with variations of my address such as adding an STE number, APT#, ect and attach that
