Question: Windows profile vs chrome profile

From what I've been reading, it's generally recommended to start a new windows profile or change windows profile for a new paypal account (in addition to other measures). But if the issue is cookies/flash cookies, couldn't you just start a new instance and profile of your browser? A new chrome instance shouldn't be related flash cookie wise to the one you've always been running?

Re: Question: Windows profile vs chrome profile

A new instance will access the same cookies because it uses the same chrome profile.
But if you create a new chrome profile, you'd have separate cookies/profiles which is sufficient for running stealth accounts so technically speaking, you really don't need a new windows user account / profile.
The only thing I'd be worried about is safety.

A. I might forget to change IPs when switching browser profiles.
B. eBay made it clear in their updated TOS that they have implemented certain finger-printing measures. They also said they use Google's help in that regard with information purchased from google.

Did you know that eBay cannot 'see' your user account name but chrome can 'see' it?
Furthermore, if you have a google account/google drive on your desktop, it reports all your profiles (and your windows user names) back to your chrome browser!
For a company who helps eBay to build fingerprint, I'd not be happy to give them that much information.

Here's how I would preferably run stealth accounts:

1. VM -> OS -> FF or Opera or Chrome. Firefox and opera being first and second choice.
2. OS -> User Account -> FF or Opera or (Chrome x 1)
3. OS -> User Account -> FF and multiple FF profiles.

Thanks for the explanation, really appreciate it. Yes I did mean chrome profile, not instance.

I figure it would be easiest just to change profiles, naming them to keep them straight if I wish. Within chrome, you can assign proxies to different profiles. Not sure if it's just laziness by not wanting to move everything over to a new windows profile.
