PayPal limited after 180 days withdrew, error now can’t add bank
 

I had an account that I sold over 10k in about a week or two. Anyways, account got limited and I didn’t pass the limitation. Now after 180 days my funds are available for withdrawal so I withdrew it to my bank and my bank sent it back because names mismatched (I used this bank before for many many withdrawals, but they said because it was such a high deposit they cancelled it).

I log in and try to add another bank account and no luck. Says I cannot add it. Should I call PayPal and talk to them? It’s not letting me chat with them. I’ve heard on here that PayPal can reset it.

I’ve waited a week and tried again but same error message.

What do you guys think? I’d like opinions before I decide what to do. It’s over 10k and I’d rather not lose it all.

Well at this point you have nothing to lose by calling them or sending them a message. Do you have another bank account lined up that hasn't ever been used with a different PayPal account?

what is the name of your bank which cancelled the incoming deposit?
Can you send a smaller amount and see what happens?
Paypal rep may advise you to send the fund to another Paypal account or ask for a bank check,if you are in USA and have a valid address

Current bank account. Yes I have a WF lined up, they’ve never given me issues in the past. I’ll see what I can do.

trying to get a bank added probs will be HARD and will take many calls. Best luck is to do small amount broski, like $100 amounts or even lower. It happened to me before your lucky you even have a working bank on it

Right now I’m just having a hard time actually talking to someone. It seems like there isn’t a way to actually talk to anyone other than the message feature, which gives me a canned response. Anyone have any success calling in?

go to paypal forum,paypal reps are there sometimes.
It would be hard for anyone to add a new bank account after suspension,as after 180 days,they dont know if you were the rightful owner

I have the same problem, 180 days passed, and somehow they disconnected my bank account as well. Messaging system sends copy&paste responses. On one account I managed to persuade them to send the funds to my friend. I have 3 others that are still stuck.
