eCheck refund, help please
 

I issued a refund through Ebay and Paypal took it out as an echeck rather than my balance for some odd reason. The names are mismatch and its a Barclays savings account. What will happen and how can i refund the buyer now? Thank you

If your savings account is verified and attached to PP, the funds will come out of the account - takes a few days

Erm, yes it’s verified but it’s mismatched name and I saw someone else say it will never work with Barclays saving. There’s also no money in that account. My main concern is, how can I actually refund the buyer now? Thank you

Oh Barclays saving hmm - I don't have that access with account.

There should be a way to refund with a loaded gift credit card or VCC but since the echeck is already done...you are likely going to have to wait for the echeck to fail.

Hopefully your bank account won't go negative and you get hit with overdraft fees - again I don't know if Barclays savings accounts do this though.

can you add fund now?
If I recall how it works in US,Paypal could try 3 times?wonder why it does not use your Paypal balance,unless the fund has not cleared yet?
