Can PayPal take money from your bank after withdrawal

If you withdraw your entire PayPal balance to your bank account and later someone makes a claim, can PayPal take money out of your bank account or card to cover the cost?

If yes, does disconnecting the bank and/or card prevent this?

Yes they can withdraw as per the ToS when you signed up. Disconnecting the bank wouldn't help much unless account is closed, just saying...

when you buyer files a claim,it will turn your Paypal account into negative territory, all future sales you made will be used to offset that negative balance.
Paypal will also ask you to transfer fund into your PAypal account to bring it to neutral /positive.

dipping into your bank account is last resort,so is debiting your credit card.

In the UK the only way PayPal can take money from your bank account is if you have an active direct debit setup between them and the bank. Without an active direct debit, they will be unable to debit your bank account.

Disconnecting a credit card is harder but how many stealthers are using their real cards with paypal?

Yes if they have direct debit activated, you can block directly from the bank itself then they can't
