yOU mean you don't have access to a USA phone number to receive text confirmation?

I'm sure you can google how you can get your hands on one for China. Have you tried that?

psd2 is a EU regulation, not US. something you should know as seller here in forums.

he locked himself out of the account and can not log in anymore because they ask to verify the phonenumber. I had the same issue around 1 week ago. i had to call paypal and they replaced the phonenumber and i could log in. but 1) you need to have a replacement phonenumber 2) you can only do it by calling (and the que is 1 hr)

My approach to this is that I do not add a mobile phone number, only landline numbers. So far, i never been locked out. You can just skip the PSD2 notice in the homepage, and you use the account normally.

If it was previously verified by mobile phone number, and if it's a personal account - you cannot skip the PSD2 verification.
The temporary skip is only for business accounts, and only added a landline number, and not mobile phone verified.
