HELP PP Permanently Limited Account/Funds Frozen
 

Hi, was hoping some of the pro's on this site can help me out. I liquidated some fractions of BTC on Paxful, and was paid via paypal. My account got flagged( 10 transactions) and asked for the nature of the transaction which I said collectibles, they asked for supplier invoices which I said was impossible(as items older then 6 months- perhaps a mistake) and for tracking numbers ( i said sent digitally, perhaps an error too). 1 Day later, account funds frozen 180 days and account cancelled for breaking user agreement. What are solutions to release funds early, do I have risk of the money stuck in Paypal and how can I reinstate my account

I have sent a BB dispute

Called multiple times with limited to zero success, they hang up, put on hold for ages and or cannt do anything.

I am in Canada if that matters

All help appreciated

breaking user agreement,you better research and find out -did you break user agreement?
if you do,they can confiscate your money.
why not ask the site where you sold your BTC,if it allows Paypal payment,it must have some knowledge about your case

you can still get your money but you have to wait 180 days. i wouldn't do anything at all, just wait 180 days

what is the offense?
I dont see bitcoin in the prohibited list /Paypal AUP policy.

I know Paypal does not like BTC,but there is no written policy,unless it has changed,
But you lied to them,if they know you are lying,then your account is restricted.
can they tell from the sender? that it is a bitcoin transaction?
Paxful.com does not buy collectibles,if the payment is coming from Paxful,not your individual buyer,it is easy for Paypal to see youare trading bitcoin

But they were using stealth accounts as values split into smaller purchases, something I just learnt about as settled via multiple accounts.

BTC- defined as a collectible I think is quite accurate - I suppose this is an argument for another conversation; is Gold a currency or a collectible or precious metal or perhaps all of the above? We know one thing both BTC/ Gold have an intrinsic value that people use to hedge against fiat currencies and can use to transact/trade.

Now to address the lying part, I wouldnt even argue with you.. I absolutely was extremely vague as I was completly amateur and very unfamilar with the resolution questions from Paypal and didnt provide much info. Was trying to rip through things to have my funds released.

I found this site researching what had happened and it has been a great resource to date. I hope if anything this community and others are able to learn from my experience and I am able to give people insight into my actions and outcome( good/ bad).

PayPal really don't allow private individuals selling BTC/digital currency, it relates to "exchanging currencies" as you know how broad their AUP are that they do not allow unless as a business you get prior permission to, like Paxful/Coinbase. And saying to PayPal 'digital' and 'collectible' together is not convincing.

as far as US customs is concerned,gold is the same as currency,if you bring in $10,000 or more cash into this country,you will need to declare it.
so if your gold spot value is 10,000 or more,you declare it
