need advice with my paypal(one account suspended, one not)
 

Hi, about a year ago, my second EB account was suspended (my first EB account is not), and the PP account which was linked to it was permanently closed. I had about 5 other EB accounts, 4 were linked and suspended but for some reason they did not touch my original EB account and I have been selling on it for about a year. I have been using my brothers PP account until I realized I had another PP account which was not suspended(which I opened sometime ago and just never used). Iv been using my other PP account now for 2 weeks and have had around $2,500 come in and out of the account. There is around $1600 in now. I just realized though that eventually this account will be limited, and I will have to supply my SS#, and once I do this they will see it is the same # as my first suspended PP account, and then will close this account, my brothers PP account(which I have been using for the past year), and my only EB account left. What I don't understand is that all my EB and PP accounts SHOULD be linked (name, address, IP, cookies). This said, it doesn't make sense for them to have left my original ebay account, and second PP account open. So what will happen when my PP is limited and they see my SS# is the same of a suspended PP account? To avoid having my PP limited I just switched back yesterday to using my bros account but I still have 3 echecks which havnt cleared and need to withdraw around $1,600, so my account still might be limited. someone help!!! I have no idea of what to think/do.

yes but I thought this was a more correct place for it, and also I did not really get many answers. Like yours.. "tell your brother to start looking for another job" not very helpful.

So if you didnt get any answers, why would you post again hoping that magically some answers would appear?

I thought I put it in the wrong spot and the right people didn't get to see it, but now I guess no one knows or no one cares. Thanks for your help people dont worry I wont post anymore.

I think you should wait to see if you get limited before you do anything. Paypal has you by the balls basically so you just need to play it out and see what happens. At worst the make you give the SS# and the limit you and hopefully in 120 days you get your funds released. In the meantime, get a merchant account. Try ccnow.com

I agree, you can't rely on Paypal anymore. Paypal is now linking accounts just for accepting eBay funds, and one way or another you'll be shut down. Get started with a merchant account as soon as possible.

I agree with you 100% .Paypal and Eb now link no matter what. My PP was closed last week for no reason, I called in and was told because 1 of my EB accounts was suspended .(I never link any EB to PP). As I know, if you accept payment from EB, it will automatically be linked. If your accout gets suspended, the email you use to accept payment will be forwarded to PP and ...pam, your paypal will be gone too. "Do not link EB account to PP account" is NOT WORKING ANYMORE.

hi... my paypal account got limited while back.. but then automatically delimited itself as i had already provided all the relavant info they require.. i m UK based so the first limitation threshold is 4500£, any idea when do paypal limits after that? and for wat reason if any

I account was limited once in the past and they asked for all things (utility bill, id, supplier's contact ....) .it was de-limited after a week and ran for 2 months. then this time, they CLOSED it. There will be no limit next time, they will close it.Period
